UK degree certificates, academic transcripts and other educational documents may need to be certified before they can be used overseas.
In many cases, you will not need to attend an appointment. Depending on the document and the requirements of the receiving authority, original documents may be sent directly to us. We will verify the qualification or document directly with the issuing institution or another official source.
Please send us a copy of the document and any instructions you have received first, and we will confirm the appropriate process.
Professional qualifications and registration
Professionals working or relocating overseas may be asked to provide evidence of their qualifications, registration or professional standing.
We can assist with the notarisation and certification of relevant documents and, where appropriate, verify information through official professional or regulatory sources.
This may include documents required by overseas professional bodies and regulators, including those relating to medical and healthcare professionals.
Criminal record certificates
ACRO Police Certificates, DBS certificates and other criminal record documents may be required for overseas employment, professional registration, immigration and other applications.

Original and electronic documents
The appropriate method of certification depends on how the document was issued.
For physical documents, we may need to examine the original. Where a document was issued electronically, we may be able to verify the electronic document or record through its issuing or official source.

Academic and professional documents may also need to be legalised before they can be used overseas.
